A WALK FOR DELIVERANCE a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization has served the Irving community and the Dallas/Fort Worth area for the past 16 years. Our organization provides temporary assistance for families and individuals in need of food, shelter, limited financial assistance, and referral information.
Our organization, Lifting Hands, Inc., is devoted to supporting communities, raising awareness and providing resources to aid those in need.
This 5k walk is an opportunity for us to come together and show our commitment to helping those in need. Join us in 2024 as we walk together, knowing that every step we take will help provide aid and deliverance to those who are less fortunate.
To the Committe Members THANK YOU for sacrificing your time each year to help keep this event going. Love you all bunches! Thank you to all our SUPPORTERS/PARTICIPANTS/DONORS/VOLUNTEERS. We could not have done any of this without you! You all are amazing! May God bless each and every person that gave up their time, money, prayers and resources! A Walk for Deliverance - Lifting Hands, Inc. is a 5k hybrid and virtual walk event where everyone can participate and make a difference. Join a community of passionate individuals coming together to support a great cause. By participating in A Walk for Deliverance, you’re directly supporting our mission to help those in need. With our virtual option, you can join in from anywhere, on any device, and at any time. So, grab your sneakers, your family and friends, and join us on this walk towards bettering the lives of others.
How will we know if the participants walked? Participants can log into social media and share their progress. There are apps where they can map their route, track progress and share their miles by posting on social media and tagging A Walk for Deliverance.
Due to changes that may occur with COVID-19 and the safety of all participants, location and schedule are subject to occur for our in-person event.
