“A Walk for Deliverance” has funding available to assist those experiencing a temporary financial crisis. Clients who need help must qualify by contacting our Financial Advisor Valerie Williams at (972)790-8036.

If you're needing assistance with utility bills/ resident assistance, a volunteer will gather relevant information pertaining to the client's debt, including the amount and account number(s), and will contact the utility company or landlord/mortgage Company. We also assist with food, emergency shelter, prescription and bus passes for transportation.

Please note if you sign up for assistance for rent, you will need to wait a year before receiving assistance for utility bills or vice versa. Also, if you have a termination or eviction notice it's important to know that we will ONLY assist if the balance owed will be paid in full or arrangements are made.

Clients are asked to complete the form, attach a copy their original utility bill or lease/mortgage, proof of residency and current photo ID.

We will determine what percentage of the debt we will pay based on the funds that are available.

In order for us to provide assistance to residents experiencing a temporary crisis, we rely on the community's generous contributions and our annual walk Lifting Hands Inc. “A Walk for Deliverance” a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Your contributions to A Walk for Deliverance are tax-deductible to the extent of the law. We will provide receipts to evidence your donations.

Thanks for your generosity and support!
